We have been busy working with Yorkshire Rose Events to create our first showcase of the year. We have got so much coming in the events this year we are so excited. We have rebranded the Under 5s Demo Day as Mini's Showcase.

Our first event will be on Sunday 3rd March at Richmond Secondary School. Tickets are now on sale £10 per child including a free goody bag.

We've got some amazing activities including forest school, Makaton, Sunshine Sensory and Lingotots. On top of that there will be softplay, selfie station and some lovely stall holders with clothes, embroidery, books, cakes and much more.

Our baby massage classes have continued this term and will be moving to the new home of Tunstall village hall from February. Baby massage is a lovey time to spend some time with your little one and relax with other parents. We spend time learning traditional baby massage moves then also the more recent story massage which has less moves but is a lovely way to spend with your child and easy to continue at home even when they get older.

Song of the Term

For our first term our song was The Wheels on the Bus, we've had some lovely big movements while practising our song.

Next term we will be moving on to some counting with 1,2,3,4,5 Once I Caught a Fish Alive. This is a great way to introduce counting with children and also a perfect chance work on 1:1 counting. 1:1 counting involves touching the object and saying the number at the same time. This supports children beginning to understand that the number they are saying correlates to the number of objects.
